In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Arjun. Arjun was a brilliant student who followed every rule to the letter. He loved precision. One sunny morning, he decided to build a small wooden stool for his mother using a detailed blueprint he had drawn. He had the right tools, the right measurements, and a perfect plan.
As Arjun worked diligently in his backyard, an old man named Somu sat nearby on a bench. Arjun was so focused on his measurements and his drawings that he didn't notice the birds suddenly going silent. He didn't notice the dark clouds gathering on the horizon or the way the wind began to whistle through the trees.
Suddenly, a massive gust of wind swept through the yard, knocking over Arjun’s wood scraps and scattering his tools across the muddy ground. Arjun sat down and cried, 'But I did everything right! My plan was perfect! Why did it fail?'
Old Somu walked over and patted his shoulder. 'Arjun, your method was excellent, and your skill is great. But you were so busy looking at your paper that you forgot to look at the world around you. To succeed, you must not only know how to do a task but also understand the nature of the environment you are working in.'
Arjun realized that his technical knowledge was incomplete without situational awareness. The next time he worked, he checked the weather and the surroundings before starting. He finished his stool beautifully, working in harmony with the world.
