He looked at the King with a gentle smile and said, 'Your Majesty, your strength is legendary. But this small land is the heart of our people's livelihood. If you act as our friend instead of a conqueror, our two kingdoms can live in peace and prosperity forever.'
His words were not harsh, and they made the King smile. The tension in the room melted away. Because Aryan spoke with grace and brevity, King Vikram agreed to a peaceful treaty instead of a war. Aryan returned home a hero.
