Once upon a time, there lived a brave prince named Vikram. He was very proud of his strength and his ability to win any battle. One day, he decided to lead his army through a valley to expand his kingdom. As they approached a small village, an old farmer named Madhav approached the prince's horse. 'Please, Prince Vikram, do not take your heavy horses through this field. The soil is soft, and our young crops will be crushed,' Madhav pleaded.
Vikram felt insulted. 'I am a conqueror! Should I listen to a simple farmer?' he shouted. However, his wise mentor, Elder Raghav, whispered, 'Prince, true greatness is not shown by crushing others, but by bowing to those who need your respect. That is how a true leader wins hearts.'
Vikram paused. He realized that his pride was unnecessary. He ordered his troops to take a longer, rockier path instead. The villagers were so touched by his kindness that they shared their food and news with the army. Later, when a neighboring kingdom tried to invade, the villagers acted as spies and helped Vikram protect his borders. He learned that being humble was a much more powerful weapon than his sword.
