In a peaceful coastal village lived a young boy named Arjun and his grandfather. The village was known for an elderly man named Mr. Raghavan, who was respected by everyone. People often said, 'Raghavan is like the shore of the ocean; no matter how much the tides change, he remains steadfast.'
One summer, a terrible drought hit the village. The wells ran dry, and many people began to argue and hoard food. Some villagers, who were once kind, became greedy and selfish to protect their own interests. Arjun watched this with sadness. He saw his friends' families fighting over small portions of grain.
Amidst this chaos, Mr. Raghavan remained calm. He shared his own limited food supplies with those who had nothing, even when others were being selfish. He didn't change his kindness just because the times were hard. Arjun asked him, 'Grandpa, why are you still being so kind when everyone else is being mean?' Mr. Raghavan smiled and said, 'Arjun, the waves may crash and the winds may howl, but the shore does not move. A person of true character stays true to their goodness, no matter the season.'
As years passed, Arjun grew up. He saw many people rise and fall, changing their values for wealth or power. But he always remembered Mr. Raghavan’s lesson. He decided to be like that unchanging shore, keeping his integrity strong through all of life's storms.
