In a cozy little cottage, two vessels lived side by side on a wooden shelf. One was a humble Clay Pot, made of soft, earthy soil, and the other was a shiny Brass Urn, gleaming with pride. The Clay Pot was gentle and cautious, while the Brass Urn was strong, hard, and quite boastful.
One magical morning, a strange thing happened—both vessels grew tiny, nimble legs! The Brass Urn began to dance with joy. "Look at us!" it shouted. "We are no longer stuck in this dusty kitchen. We can run through the meadows, climb the hills, and see the whole wide world! Let's go!"
The Clay Pot felt a shiver of fear. "Please, dear friend, let us stay here. I am fragile. If we run too fast or if I bump into your hard edges, I might break into pieces. We are not made of the same strength."
But the Brass Urn laughed loudly. "You are far too timid! Why stay here and endure the heat of the cooking fire every day? Come, let us embrace freedom!"
Unable to resist the Urn's persistence, the Clay Pot slowly followed. They stepped out into the bright sunlight and began to trot across a rocky path. The Brass Urn, feeling invincible, started running at full speed, jumping over stones and racing ahead. "Catch up, slowpoke!" it called out.
Suddenly, as they neared a jagged rock, the Brass Urn swerved sharply. The Clay Pot, unable to keep up, collided heavily with the hard, unyielding side of the Brass Urn. With a sharp 'crack', the Clay Pot shattered into a hundred tiny shards on the ground.
The Brass Urn stood still, looking down at the broken pieces. It realized too late that its friend's caution was wisdom, and that traveling with someone whose nature was vastly different had led to a tragedy.
