In a lush, green forest lived a lively little rabbit named Chinnu. Chinnu was very energetic, but he had one small weakness: whenever something didn't go his way immediately, he would easily give up.

One bright morning, Chinnu decided to visit his best friend, Pappu the lamb, who lived on the other side of the hills. Chinnu set off with great excitement. As he trekked through the woods, he enjoyed the singing birds, but soon, his tummy began to rumble loudly. He realized he had forgotten to eat his breakfast in his hurry to meet Pappu.

While searching for something to eat, Chinnu spotted something wonderful. High up on a small hill, tucked behind some bushes, was a patch of giant, bright orange carrots. They looked incredibly juicy and sweet. "Oh boy!" Chinnu whispered, his eyes widening. "Those carrots are exactly what I need!"

Chinnu ran to the carrots and took a big leap. Boing! He missed them by a few inches. He tried again, jumping even higher this time. Thud! He landed back on the grass, exhausted. He tried a third time, using all his strength, but the carrots remained just out of reach.

Frustrated and tired, Chinnu puffed out his cheeks. "Hmph!" he grumbled loudly so that anyone listening could hear. "I bet those carrots are actually hard and tasteless. They probably taste like old wood anyway. I don't even want them!"

An old, wise owl sitting on a nearby branch had been watching the whole scene. "Chinnu," the owl said softly, "it is easy to call something bad just because you couldn't reach it. If you had taken a moment to think of a different way—perhaps climbing or using a stick—you might have enjoyed those sweet carrots."

Chinnu felt a sting of regret. He realized that instead of finding a way, he had simply made excuses to hide his disappointment. From that day on, whenever Chinnu faced a challenge, he promised himself to try harder instead of walking away.
