In the vast blue sky, the mighty Sun and the wandering Wind were close friends. However, the Wind had a restless spirit and a habit of boasting. He loved to tell everyone how powerful he was.

One afternoon, the Wind puffed out his chest and said to the Sun, "Look at me! I can shake the tallest trees and toss the heavy clouds. I am far more powerful than you!"

The Sun smiled warmly and replied, "Power is not just about strength, my friend. It is about how you use it. Let us see who can truly help a traveler on this path."

Just then, a weary traveler appeared on the dusty road. He was wearing a thick cloak and a heavy hat to protect himself from the elements. The Wind, eager to prove himself, thought, "I will show him! I will blow that hat right off his head!"

The Wind blew a sudden, violent gust. The traveler, startled and frightened by the sudden force, stumbled and was forced to sit down under a small bush to catch his breath. His hat flew far away into the bushes.

"See?" the Wind boasted. "I have conquered him!"

The Sun spoke calmly, "Now, let me try." The Sun began to shine with a gentle, steady warmth. As the traveler felt the soothing rays, his shivering stopped, and he felt a sense of comfort. He stood up, found his hat, and continued his journey.

As the sun climbed higher, the warmth became pleasant. The traveler, feeling much more comfortable, took off his heavy cloak and walked along with a light step. He looked happy and refreshed.

The Wind watched this in silence and felt a pang of regret. He realized that his violent gust had only caused fear and discomfort, while the Sun's steady warmth had helped the man move forward. "You are right, Sun," the Wind whispered softly. "True strength is knowing when to be a gentle breeze instead of a storm."

From that day on, the Wind stopped boasting and learned to blow as a refreshing breeze to help the world stay cool and happy.
