In a lush, green forest, there lived a lively rabbit named Mani. One sunny morning, Mani decided to go on an adventure to find a hidden vegetable garden. After traveling for a long time, Mani reached a narrow wooden bridge that spanned a small, rushing stream.
As Mani began to step onto the bridge, another rabbit named Somu appeared from the opposite side. The bridge was so narrow that only one rabbit could pass at a time without falling into the water.
'Hey Somu! Step aside and let me pass first!' Mani shouted impatiently.
Somu frowned and replied, 'No way! I saw this bridge first, so I should be the one to cross!'
'But I am already on the bridge! The path belongs to me!' Mani argued stubbornly. Both rabbits continued to argue and push forward, meeting right in the middle of the bridge.
Because they were so busy arguing, neither of them was looking at their feet. Suddenly, Mani’s foot slipped on a mossy patch. As Somu reached out to help, he lost his balance too. With a loud splash, both rabbits tumbled into the cold stream below.
Soaking wet and shivering, they struggled to climb onto the muddy bank. Mani looked at Somu sadly and said, 'If only we had been patient and let each other pass, we would be enjoying the garden right now.'
Somu nodded regretfully, 'You are right, Mani. Our stubbornness only brought us trouble.' From that day on, they promised to always be kind and cooperative.

Stubbornness leads to trouble; cooperation leads to success.
