In a lush green forest, there lived a tiny mosquito named Zinny. Zinny was quite proud and often thought that she was much more important than she actually was. She believed every little thing she did mattered greatly to the world.
One sunny afternoon, Zinny felt extremely hungry. She decided to fly toward a nearby farm to find a meal. She flapped her wings vigorously, but as she flew further and further away from her home, her tiny body began to feel heavy and exhausted.
Just as she was about to fall from tiredness, she spotted a large, calm bull grazing in a meadow. Zinny thought, 'That horn looks like a perfect resting place!' She landed softly on the tip of the bull's sturdy horn and took a much-needed nap.
After resting for a while, Zinny felt refreshed. As she prepared to take off, a thought crossed her mind. 'That bull was so kind to let me rest there. I must show my gratitude!' She flew close to the bull's ear and buzzed loudly, 'Thank you, mighty bull! You provided me with a wonderful place to rest when I was weary!'
The bull didn't even flinch. He continued munching on the grass and replied calmly, 'Little mosquito, why are you thanking me? I didn't even notice you were there. You were just a tiny speck on my horn. Now, please go about your business, and I will continue mine.'
Zinny froze in mid-air. She realized that her 'big moment' of resting on the bull hadn't even been noticed by the giant creature. Her ego vanished instantly. She learned that being important is not about how much others notice us, but about understanding our true place in the world.

Do not let pride make you believe you are more significant than you truly are.
