In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Kavin. Kavin was a bright boy, but he often acted too quickly without thinking about the consequences. One sunny afternoon, his father was working on a beautiful wooden music box. Once finished, his father said, 'Kavin, please place this carefully on the kitchen table,' and then stepped out to the garden.
As Kavin was carrying the box, his friend Ravi came running towards him, bouncing a bright new ball. 'Kavin, come and play! We can play catch!' Ravi shouted excitedly. Kavin felt a surge of excitement. He really wanted to play, but he knew that if he stopped to play now, he might get distracted and drop the precious box, or forget his duty.
Kavin paused. He felt a tug-of-war in his heart. He realized that playing right this moment, while carrying something important, was a mistake he should avoid. He thought, 'What is the right thing to do right now?' He decided that his duty came first. 'Not right now, Ravi,' Kavin said with a smile. 'I must finish my task properly first.'
He walked steadily to the kitchen and placed the box exactly where it belonged. When he returned to the garden, Ravi was still there, waiting. Kavin felt a deep sense of peace and pride in his heart. He had chosen the right path.
