In a peaceful village lived a bright boy named Kavin. Kavin was clever, but he had a small flaw: he often thought he knew everything better than anyone else. His usual group of friends were hardworking and kind. However, Kavin slowly started spending more time with a boy named Vikram. Vikram didn't care much for studies and loved spending time playing pranks and skipping responsibilities.

Let's go play in the woods instead!" Kavin hesitated, but wanting to be 'cool' like Vikram, he ignored his father's request and ran off to play. That evening, Kavin's grandfather sat him down. "Kavin," he said gently, "You might think your wisdom lies only within your own mind. But in reality, your wisdom is reflected in the company you keep. If you walk with those who avoid duty, you will lose your way. If you walk with those who value truth, you will grow." Kavin realized that by choosing Vikram, he was letting his own wisdom slip away. He decided to reconnect with his old, responsible friends, and soon, his bright and helpful nature returned.
