In a peaceful village, a young boy named Arjun lived with his grandfather. One sunny afternoon, while playing in the orchard, Arjun found a large, golden, ripe mango. It looked delicious. A selfish thought crossed his mind: 'If I eat this all by myself, no one will ask for a bite.' He quickly picked it and hid it in his room.
A few minutes later, his little sister, Meera, knocked on the door. 'Arjun, are you hiding any treats?' she asked with hopeful eyes. Arjun, not wanting to share, replied, 'No, Meera, I don't have anything.' Meera walked away, looking disappointed. Arjun sat down to eat his prize. But as he took the first bite, he felt a strange emptiness. The mango was sweet, but the silence in the room felt heavy.
Just then, his grandfather called out, 'Arjun! Come here! The harvest is plenty today. Bring your sister and enjoy the fruits together!' Arjun realized his mistake. He felt a pang of guilt for lying to Meera. He ran to find her, apologized, and brought her to the orchard. They sat together, peeling the mango and laughing. As they shared the fruit, Arjun realized that the mango tasted much sweeter when shared with family. He learned that true prosperity comes to those who include their loved ones in their joys.
