In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Leo. Leo was a bright boy, but he had a small habit of making excuses when he made mistakes. One sunny afternoon, while playing in the living room, Leo accidentally knocked over his mother's favorite crystal vase. It shattered into tiny pieces. Panicked, Leo quickly said, 'It wasn't me, Mom! The cat jumped on the table!'
When his mother came into the room, Leo tried to look calm. He spoke with a steady voice, but his eyes were darting around nervously, and his face looked pale and tense. His father, who had been watching from the doorway, called Leo over. 'Leo, come look into this mirror,' his father said gently.
Leo looked at his reflection. Even though he was trying to act brave, his eyes looked sad and fearful in the mirror. His father explained, 'Leo, just as a mirror shows exactly what is in front of it, your face shows exactly what is inside your heart. You can say you are fine, but your face tells the truth about your fear and guilt.' Leo realized that he couldn't hide his feelings. He tearfully admitted his mistake and apologized. From that day on, Leo learned that being honest was much easier than trying to hide the truth behind a mask.
