In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Arjun. He was a bright boy, but often struggled to hide his true feelings. One sunny afternoon, his father, a respected merchant, gave him a small wooden box filled with delicious sweets. 'Arjun, keep this safe and do not eat them until we have guests tonight,' his father instructed before leaving for the market.
As Arjun sat in the garden, his friend Maya came over to play. Maya was beaming with joy because she had won a race. When Arjun saw her, he smiled back, but deep down, he was worried that he might accidentally eat one of the sweets. Even though he was playing, a tiny shadow of anxiety crossed his face every time he looked at the box.
Later that evening, his father returned early. Arjun was playing with his toys, trying to look perfectly calm. However, as his father approached, Arjun’s eyes darted toward the box, and his smile didn't quite reach his eyes. His father sat beside him and asked, 'Are you feeling alright, Arjun?' Arjun replied, 'Yes, Father, I am very happy.' But his father saw the slight tension in his forehead and the restless way he looked away. Without a word, the father knew that Arjun was struggling with a secret worry. Arjun realized then that no matter how hard he tried to act normal, his face had already told his father the truth.
